What Type of Ink Can You Use With Your Stamps?

broken image

Our stamps are divided into two categories: self-inking stamps and stamps that require a separate ink pad. You may use almost any ink with every stamp, although the format is somewhat different for each type of stamp. Let's have a peek at your choices down below.

Rubber Stamp Ink

If you have a rubber stamp with a separate ink pad, one of our regular ink pads is the most common option. These are available in black, blue, red, green, or violet and can hold any size rubber stamp. If you want to try a different ink, you may choose a dry ink pad that works with both water and oil-based inks.

Self-Inking Stamp Ink

When you order a self-inking stamp, you may also select one of our normal ink colours; the only difference is that the ink is already in the stamp, so you don't need a separate ink pad. We have a comprehensive line of refill bottles for all of our stamp brands, allowing you to restock anytime you need to.

Inks in Bottles

In addition to our normal ink colours, we carry a large selection of bottled inks ideal for use with traditional rubber stamps and self-inking stamps — simply let us know when you place your purchase if you want your self-inking stamp to utilise one of these inks. Among our bottled inks are the following:

– Fast drying ink for glossy paper and card – Fast drying ink for plastic, metal, and glass

– Cloth ink

– Tyre marking ink

– Cloth ink

– UV ink for skin

– UV ink for coated paper, metal, plastic, foils, and tyres

- Marking ink for eggs

These inks may be used with one of our dry ink pads or in your self-inking stamp. However, if you have a stamp with a separate ink pad, you can use more than one ink with the stamp. This is important if, for example, you want the same stamp to create two distinct coloured imprints.
